I am immensely proud of our work with NHS 24 to help them rapidly scale to cope with a huge 600% increase in demand for their services when the pandemic was declared. Our teams worked incredibly hard to lighten the load for their overstretched contact centre teams, and managed to turn around a working proof of concept in just 24 hours - going live just a few weeks later to create a more resilient and responsive service for NHS24.
We're also over the moon with the feedback from Richard Geary, Algorithms Specialist and Research & Development Engineer at bet365, one of this years judges.
“The Cloud Awards would like to recognise the hard work, dedication and successful collaboration between Amido, Scotland's National Health Service and Cancer Central with this award. This chatbot reduced call volume pressure by 50% during the Covid-19 pandemic and serves as a perfect example of how cloud native technologies can improve our world. Congratulations Amido, you should be very proud of what you have achieved.”
As well as Head of Operations for the Cloud Awards, James Williams,
“The Cloud Awards has been identifying the great organizations who create world-changing technologies for a decade now. Amido is a worthier-than-ever winner of a Cloud Award, taking cloud technologies to new heights. It was a real pleasure to see them come top in their category and shows how much they impressed the panel with their market-leading innovations.
We’ve also had our incredible team and people-focused culture called out again, as we were named finalists in numerous categories including Best Cloud Consultancy and Best Place to Work. We also earned our first (of many we hope!) finalist placement for Amido Stacks, our software factory which improves quality and gets our clients to value faster, in the Best Open Source Solution category.
Congratulations to all of the organisations across the world that have been recognised for cloud excellence.
